ntroducing the Southend United 2026/27 Third Kit; a shirt that brings together the culture of our city, the memories of our past and the innovation of the future.

Taking inspiration from both the iconic Southend Culture Building on the pier, this season's third kit captures the colour, energy and personality that makes our city unique. The striking pink and purple colourway with the contrasting yellow detailing comes together to create a design made to stand out both on and off the pitch.

Look closer and you'll find a modern interpretation of a much-loved piece of Shrimper history. The shirt draws inspiration from the legendary 1996/97 - 1997/98 ‘Custard Splat’ kit, bringing elements of that unforgettable design into a completely new look for a new generation of Southend supporters. It's a nod to the shirts, players and memories that came before us, while creating something that is entirely its own.

Designed by Erreà’s Creative Lab, the design strips back both iconic crests to the symbols that make them recognisable across the globe. Inside the collar, you will see the two phrases consistent with our ranges this year: ‘WE ARE SOUTHEND’ and ‘NEVER GIVE UP’.

The 2026/27 Third Kit features advanced nanotech material, adding performance technology to a stunning kit.
